| "Drill is the perfect balance between speed and control. I love to pick up the pace, but keeping in mind equitation and the rest of the team 's position is what makes drill challenging and enjoyable. It's great schooling for not only my horse, but myself as well." |

| Office: Treasurer | |
| Horse: Sierra | |
| Major: Industrial Engineering | |

| "Drill is not only a challenging sport to ride physically, but it is also an intellectual challenge because you have to understand the mechanics of the pattern in order to fully comprehend the complexity of eight horses barreling towards each other at top speed without collisions. This dual engagement is what makes drill my favorite sport on dirt!" |
| Office: Secretary |
| Non-riding member | |
| Major: Animal Science | |

| “Running full speed, turning on a dime, memorizing a pattern, and going the distance is hard enough when just riding your horse; when you're on a drill team, you are responsible for your horse AND knowing exactly where all other seven horses are, how they are turning, and where your opening will be. Drill is the absolute definition of multi-tasking...and we all love it!'" |

A Big Thank You!

| The team would like to give their best to the founder of the OSU Equestrian Drill Team. Without Megan, this team would not exist and would never have flourished into the competitive group it is today. Megan was on the team for 7 years and served as President for most. Thanks, Megan, for getting everything started, and best wishes in your new career! | |
