OSU Hydrophiles

In spring 2011, the Water Resources Graduate Program initiated an annual symposium on water-related topics to provide students with an opportunity to present their research to peers and faculty members at OSU. In 2012, Hydrophiles is partering with the WRGP to expand Water Day, which has taken the new name, "Water Research Symposium at OSU". In addition to oral presentations, the symposium will include a poster and networking session.  We will be soliciting presentation proposals from multiple Universities, and inviting water resources professionals throughout western Oregon to attend. Hydrophiles members can get involved by joining the committe that will review abstract submissions, coordinate presentations, arrange catering, develop advertising and program materials, and apply for additional funding for the event.
